Sunday Cafe and Sunday Cafe Plus
Sunday Cafe was the first of CUR:ve's regular activities and has been running since September 2009, while Sunday Cafe Plus started a couple of years ago. We meet in The Atrium at the Rissington School on Mitchell Way on the first Sunday of every month from 10.30am till 12noon. See 'Sundays@CUR:ve' for more details.
... is a great opportunity to get together, this time on a Wednesday morning. We meet at Kami's house (7 Hawker Square) and you are welcome to drop in anytime between 10am and 12midday. There is usually plenty of laughter, but also time to talk - as a group or one-to-one. And, of course, there is always plenty of fresh coffee and homemade cakes!
Connect meets at 5 Avro Road every Thursday evening from 7.45pm till 9.30pm and is an opportunity to spend time with friends and to study the Bible together in a relaxed way. It's a great place to meet other Christians in the village or to find out more about the Christian faith.
... offers an opportunity to meet and share different craft projects together over a cup of tea or coffee. Being a CUR:ve activity, creativity extends to conversation, but knitting, crochet, card-making, drawing, and sewing have all featured. So if you've got a craft project on the go and fancy some company while you're doing it, or if you'd like to have a go at something new but don't know where to start, come and join us!
We meet at the Vicarage (6 De Havilland Road) on alternate Tuesday afternoons from 2-4pm. Contact CUR:ve to find out current dates.
Friday Food and Prayer
Prayer is very important to CUR:ve and we meet every Friday evening to eat and pray together (evening meal at 7pm, prayer from about 8pm). The venue varies so contact CUR:ve to find out where we are meeting. Everyone welcome!
